Chapter 2

Sonic was at the mall with Sally at the food court, sitting at a table eating. They had been such old friends that he could never brake a promise with her. But yet, he always felt so bored with her because she would never stop talking about herself.

“Oh my gosh Sonic do you think I pretty, cause I think I pretty. No wait I’m beautiful ya that’s right I am. Do you think I am Sonic? Cause people tell me I’m beautiful. I don’t  know, do you think I’m pretty?” Sally said. “Ya I guess,...  sure” he said glaring the other way, not knowing what he had agreed to. Sonic was to busy concentrating on how he would find a chaos emerald with Amy.
“Oh really I didn’t know that you felt that way about  me. I can’t wait to tell all the other girls that you think that I’m pretty. Isnt this great Sonic cause I think so. So Sonic, do you want to get married to me since I’m so pretty?” she said in  a wanting mood. “What!!!” he said in confusion. “ You know, me and you, happily ever after” she said demanding. “Sorry but I can’t get married” he said so that he couldn’t hurt her feeling. “And why not?” she said angrily. “ Cause ... uhh... well... you see I always have enemies and well I would never want you to get hurt” he said not wanting to tell her the truth. “That is the lamest-” she was cut off by Sonic. “ I have to go save the world now” he said and ran out of the mall.

“Sally is real handful, can’t believe she wanted me to get married to her”he thought. “Well guess I should head over to tails to see where the chaos emerald should be located” Sonic starting running over to tails place. “Knock, Knock,  hey tails im, WHOAAA!!!” sonic said in amazement.
Tails had just redone his laboratory walls with shiny silver palatinum including the counters. “Do you like this  Sonic? Tails asked. “ Ya this place looks awesome how did you come up with so much platinum?” Sonic said. “Well remember  when we defeated Eggman a month ago” tails said. “Yes” Sonic said. “ I went back to the battle site and while searching the his ship, I found an extra room full of platinum stacked in piles. I still have some left if you want” tails said. “ I don’t really know what I want so you can give me something as a surprise, Ok”sonic said. “Alright” tails said. “Now about the chaos emeralds” sonic said. “ If you could just give me a few minutes I can track a few for you” tails said and then he went to his super computer and typed in  High Power Frequencies. Then seven dots appeared on the huge screen on a map of the world. “ Well you can decide were you want to start first.” Tails said. “ Alright thanks tails” sonic said and then he ran off.

“Now were do I chose, were do I chose”  Sonic thought as he was still running around. “The forests are too dangerous, and the city would be to boring..... Hmm” he said as he reached towards his house door. Sonic opened the door and went inside, and sat on his couch. “ Gezz I never thought that picking a place to go with Amy would be this difficult” he thought.

“Ring, Ring” the telephone rang. Sonic picked up his phone. “ Hello” he said. “ Hi Sonic it me” ??? said. “ What’s up?” Sonic said. “ Well I have nothing to do tomorrow can I come over to house tomorrow?”??? said. “ Sorry but I’m going to be hanging out with Amy to tomorrow, Kiki”Sonic said. “ Oh ok then how about next Sunday”Kiki said. “ That sounds good to me see you then, ok bye” Sonic said. “Bye” kiki said.
